Hadith 24:34
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Umar ibn Hamza, who said: He informed me, saying: When they wanted to pledge allegiance to Yazid ibn Mu'awiya, Marwan stood up and said: "The rightly-guided, rightly-led Sunnah of Abu Bakr." Then Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr stood up and said: "It is not the Sunnah of Abu Bakr. Abu Bakr left behind his family, his clan, and his lineage, and he turned to a man from the Banu Adi ibn Ka'b, because he saw that he was worthy of it, so he pledged allegiance to him."
حدثنا أبو أسامة عن عمر بن حمزة قال خبرني قال لما أرادوا أن يبايعوا ليزيد بن معاوية قام مروان فقال سنة أبي بكر الراشدة المهدية فقام عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر فقال ليس بسنة أبي بكر وقد ترك أبو بكر الأهل والعشيرة والأصيل وعمد إلى رجل من بني عدي بن كعب إذ رأى أنه لذلك أهل فبايعه
