Hadith 24:45
Waki’ narrated to us, from Isma’il, from Qays, who said: Marwan was with Talha on the day of the Camel. When the war intensified, Marwan said: "I will not seek my revenge after today." He said: Then he shot him with an arrow. It struck his knee, and the blood did not cease until he died. He said: And Talha said: "Leave him, for it is an arrow that Allah has sent."
حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن قيس قال كان مروان مع طلحة يوم الجمل فلما اشتكت الحرب قال مروان لا أطلب بثأري بعد اليوم قال ثم رماه بسهم فأصاب ركبته فما رقأ الدم حتى مات قال وقال طلحة دعوه فإنه سهم أرسله الله
