Hadith 24:47
Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from Hisham ibn Urwah, who said: It reached me that al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah was in charge of the Hajj season, and it reached him that an amir (governor/official) was coming ahead of him. So he arrived on the day of Arafah, and he made it the day of al-Adha.
حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن هشام بن عروة قال بلغني أن المغيرة بن شعبة ولي الموسم فبلغه أن أميرا تقدم عليه فقدم يوم عرفة فجعله يوم الأضحى
