Hadith 24:66
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, who said: I heard my father say: It reached Ali ibn Abi Talib that Talhah was saying, "I only pledged allegiance while leaning on my back." So he sent Ibn Abbas to him to ask him. He said: So Usamah said, "As for leaning on his back, no, but he pledged allegiance while he was reluctant." He said: The people jumped toward him until they almost killed him. He said: So Suhayb went out, and I was at his side. He turned to me and said, "You already know that Umm 'Awf is a traitor."
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن سعد بن إبراهيم قال سمعت أبي يقول قال بلغ علي بن أبي طالب أن طلحة يقول إنما بايعت واللج على قفاي فارسل بن عباس فسأله قال فقال أسامة أما اللج على قفاه فلا ولكن بايع وهو كاره قال فوثب الناس إليه حتى كادوا أن يقتلوه قال فخرج صهيب وأنا إلى جنبه فالتفت إلي فقال قد علمت أن أم عوف خائنة
