Hadith 24:71
Abdullah ibn Idris narrated to us, from Harun ibn Abi Ibrahim, from Abdullah ibn Ubayd ibn Umayr, that al-Ashtar and Ibn al-Zubayr met. Ibn al-Zubayr said: "I did not strike him a single blow until he had struck me five or six times." Then he said: "He threw me down by my leg, then said: 'Were it not for your kinship to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, I would not have left a single limb of yours attached to its companion.'" He said: And Aisha said: "Alas for the bereavement of Asma!" He said: Then, when some time had passed, she gave the one who brought her the glad tidings that he was alive ten thousand.
حدثنا عبد الله بن إدريس عن هارون بن أبي إبراهيم عن عبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير أن الأشتر وبن الزبير التقيا فقال بن الزبير ما ضربته ضربة حتى ضربني خمسا أو ستا ثم قال فألقاني برجل ثم قال لولا قرابتك من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ما تركت منك عضوا مع صاحبه قال وقالت عائشة واثكل أسماء قال فلما كان بعد أعطت الذي بشرها أنه حي عشرة آلاف
