Hadith 24:74
Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Siyah, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Tha'labah ibn Yazid al-Hamani, who said: I heard Ali upon this pulpit saying: "O people, assist against your own selves, for a village might be set right by seven [men]. And if you must plunder, then come here so that I may divide it among you. For when a people descend upon a people, they strike their faces over their village."
حدثنا بن إدريس عن عبد العزيز بن سياه عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن ثعلبة بن يزيد الحماني قال سمعت عليا على هذا المنبر يقول يا أيها الناس أعينوا على أنفسكم فإن كانت القرية ليصلحها السبعة وإن كنتم لا بد منتهبيه فهلموا حتى أقسمه بينكم فإن القوم متى نزلوا بالقوم تضربوا وجوههم على قريتهم
