Hadith 24:85
30618 Malik ibn Isma'il narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn Ziyad informed us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, who said: I was sitting with Abu al-Bakhtari al-Ta'i while al-Hajjaj was delivering a sermon. He said: "The likeness of Uthman in the sight of Allah is like the likeness of Isa ibn Maryam." Then he raised his head, sighed, and said: "Indeed, I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection." He said: Then Abu al-Bakhtari said: "He has disbelieved, by the Lord of the Ka'bah."
حدثنا مالك بن إسماعيل قال أخبرنا جعفر بن زياد عن عطاء بن السائب قال كنت جالسا مع أبي البختري الطائي والحجاج يخطب فقال مثل عثمان عند الله كمثل عيسى بن مريم فرفع رأسه ثم تأوه ثم قال @QB@ إني متوفيك ورافعك إلي ومطهرك من الذين كفروا وجاعل الذين اتبعوك فوق الذين كفروا إلى يوم القيامة @QE@ قال فقال فقال أبو البحتري كفر ورب الكعبة
