Hadith 24:87
Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from al-Rabi’ ibn Abi Salih, who said: When Sa’id ibn Jubayr arrived from Makkah to Kufa, to be taken to al-Hajjaj in Wasit, he said: We came to him, and we were three or four men, and we found him in Kunasat al-Khashab. We sat with him, and a man among us wept. Sa’id said to him, "What makes you weep?" He said, "I weep for the matter that has befallen you." He said, "Do not weep, for it had already preceded in the knowledge of Allah that this would happen." Then he recited: "No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being—indeed that, for Allah, is easy."
حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الربيع بن أبي صالح قال لما قدم ( ( ( فر ) ) ) سعيد بن جبير من مكة إلى الكوفة لينطلق به إلى الحجاج إلى واسط قال فأتيناه ونحن ثلاثة نفر أو أربعة فوجدناه في كناسة الخشب فجلسنا إليه فبكى رجل منا فقال له سعيد ما يبكيك قال أبكي للذي نزل بك من الأمر قال فلا تبك فإنه قد كان سبق في علم الله يكون هذا ثم قرأ @QB@ ما أصاب من مصيبة في الأرض ولا في أنفسكم إلا في كتاب من قبل أن نبرأها إن ذلك على الله يسير @QE@ 2
