Hadith 24:94
Abu Usama narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, from his father, he said: Abu Nadra informed us that Rabi'ah spoke to him in the mosque of Banu Salama and said: "We were at the throat of the enemy until your pledge of allegiance came to us for this man, then you are now fighting him," or as they said. He said: "I entered the privy (al-hash), and the sword was placed upon my neck, and it was said: 'Pledge allegiance, or we will kill you.' So I pledged allegiance, and I knew that it was a pledge of misguidance." Al-Taymi said: And Walid bin Abd al-Malik said: A hypocrite from the hypocrites of the people of Iraq, Jabala bin Hakim, said to al-Zubayr: "You have pledged allegiance." Al-Zubayr said: "The sword was placed upon my neck, and it was said to me: 'Pledge allegiance, or we will kill you.' So I pledged allegiance."
حدثنا أبو أسامة قال حدثنا معتمر عن أبيه قال أخبرنا أبو نضرة أن ربيعة كلمه في مسجد بني سلمة فقال كنا في نحر العدو حتى جاءتنا بيعتك هذا الرجل ثم أنت الآن تقاتله أو كما قالوا فقال إني أدخلت [ الحش ] ووضع [ السيف ] على عنقي فقيل بايع وإلا قاتلناك قال فبايعت وعرفت أنها بيعة ضلالة قال التيمي وقال وليد بن عبد الملك إن منافقا من منافقي أهل العراق جبلة بن حكيم قال للزبير إنك قد بايعت فقال الزبير إن السيف وضع على عنقي فقيل لي بايع وإلا قاتلناك قال فبايعت
