Hadith 24:99
Abu Usama narrated to us, from Nafi’ ibn ‘Umar, from Ibn Abi Mulayka, who said: Al-Zubayr said to ‘Ubayd ibn ‘Umayr: "Speak to these people of the Levant, in the hope that that might turn them back." Al-Hajjaj heard that, so he sent to them: "Raise your voices." Al-Zubayr said: "Do not listen to anything from him." ‘Ubayd said: "Woe to you! Do not be like those who said: 'Do not listen to this Qur'an and speak noisily during it that perhaps you will overcome.'"
حدثنا أبو أسامة عن نافع بن عمر عن بن أبي مليكة قال قال الزبير لعبيد بن عمير كلم هؤلاء لأهل الشام رجاء أن يردهم ذاك فسمع ذلك الحجاج فأرسل إليهم ارفعوا أصواتكم قال قال الزبير فلا تسمعوا منه شيئا فقال عبيد ويحكم لا تكونوا كالذين قالوا @QB@ لا تسمعوا لهذا القرآن والغوا فيه لعلكم تغلبون @QE@ 1
