Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:10

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from a man from Banu Damra, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was asked about the *‘aqiqa* (sacrifice for a newborn). He said: "Allah does not love disobedience (*‘uquq*). Whoever among you has a child born to him and wishes to perform a sacrifice for him, let him do so."
