Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:1022

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq, from al-Zuhri, from Salim ibn ‘Abd Allah, who said: I held my wedding feast during the time of my father, and my father invited the people. Among those he invited was Abu Ayyub. I had covered my house with a green *junad* (curtain/cloth). Abu Ayyub came and entered, while my father was standing and watching. When he saw that the house was covered with a green *junad*, he said: "O servant of Allah, do you cover the walls?" My father said, while feeling ashamed: "The women have overcome us, O Abu Ayyub." He said: "I used to fear that the women would overcome me, but I did not fear that they would overcome you. I will not eat your food, nor will I enter your house." Then he left.
