Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:1037

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abbad ibn al-Awwam narrated to us, from al-Husayn, he said: Zubayd al-Yami used to wear a burnous (hooded cloak). He said: So I heard Ibrahim criticizing him for it. He said: So I said to him, "Indeed, the people used to wear them." He said: "Yes, but those who used to wear them have passed away. If anyone wears it today, they make him famous and point at him with their fingers."
