Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:127

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from Tawbah al-‘Anbari, from al-Sha’bi: He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about the dabb (lizard), and he said: "It is lawful, there is no harm in it, but I find it repulsive."
