Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:129

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Mis’ar, from Ziyad ibn ‘Alaqah, from Abu ‘Awn, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla: That the Prophet, peace be upon him, smelled the odor of a dabb (lizard). He said: "I, or we, are from a people who do not eat it." And he granted them a concession to eat it.
