Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:157

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki' narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Urwah ibn 'Abdullah al-Qushayri, Abu al-Minhal, from Ibn Sirin, he said: The companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to overcome the polytheists, so they would eat from their vessels and drink from their water skins.
