Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:163

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Ma’mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa’id, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was asked about a mouse that died in ghee. He said: "Throw it away and what is around it, and eat it." So he commanded that it be taken, and what was around it, and that it be discarded.
