Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:172

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, who said: If a rat falls into melted ghee and dies in it, it shall not be eaten. If it is solid, the rat and what is around it shall be discarded, and everything else shall be eaten.
