Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:25

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abbad bin al-Awwam narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Ishaq, from Amr bin Shu’ayb, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded the *aqiqah* on the seventh day for the newborn, the removal of the harm, and his naming.
