Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:30

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan and Ibn Sirin, that they used to dislike regarding the *aqiqah* what they disliked regarding the *udhiyah* (sacrificial animal). And he said: It is, according to them, in the status of the *udhiyah*; one eats from it and feeds [others] with it.
