Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali ibn Mushir narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Ash'ath ibn Abi al-Sha'tha', from Mu'awiyah ibn Suwayd, from al-Bara', who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade dibaj (thick silk), silk, and istabraq (brocade).
