Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:509

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abbad bin al-Awwam narrated to us, from Sa’id, from Abu Ma’shar, from Ibrahim: That he used to enter with Alqama and al-Aswad upon the wives of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he would see them in red quilts. He said: And Ibrahim did not see any harm in [wearing] saffron-dyed garments.
