Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:53

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from ‘Asim, from al-Sha’bi, from Muhammad ibn Safwan, who said: I brought two rabbits to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and I slaughtered them with a flint stone. He ordered me to eat them.
