Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman and Jarir narrated to us, from al-Rukin, from al-Qasim ibn Hassan, from his paternal uncle Abd al-Rahman ibn Harmalah, from Ibn Mas'ud, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the trailing of the lower garment (izar).
