Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Sa'id informed us, from Muhammad bin Ibrahim, from Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman bin 'Awf, that 'Abd al-Rahman bin al-Aswad bin 'Abd Yaghuth—and he was a companion to them, and he had a white head and beard—went to them one day, and he had dyed it red. The people said to him, "This is better." He said, "My mother 'Aisha sent her slave girl to me last night, and she adjured me to dye it, and she informed me that Abu Bakr used to dye."
