Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Abi Layla, from his brother ‘Isa, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "When one of you puts on a new garment, let him say: 'Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with that by which I cover my nakedness and adorn myself among the people.'"
