Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from al-Ajalih, from Yazid bin al-Asamm, from Ibn Abbas, who said: There was a gold ring on my finger. Umar bin al-Khattab reached for it, and I thought that he was only looking at it, so I relaxed my hand. He took it and threw it away. I did not ask him about it, nor did I seek it.
