Hadith 16:957
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Isra’il narrated to us, from Jabir, from ‘Amir, who said: ‘Ali ibn al-Husayn brought out to us the sword of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Its pommel and the two rings in which the sword-belt was held were of silver, [and its chain]. It was thin. It was the sword of Munabbih ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sahmi, which the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, took for himself on the day of Badr. He said: And he brought out to us his armor. It was Yemeni, thin, and had two rings. When it was hung by its two rings, [it did not touch the ground], and when it was let down, it touched the ground.
