Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Aisha, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, made an appointment with Gabriel for an hour in which he would come to him. He was delayed in coming to him. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out, and behold, he was Gabriel standing at the door. He said to him: "What prevented you from entering?" He said: "Indeed, there is a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in which there is an image nor a dog."
