Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 16:982

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shababa narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Mihran, from Umar, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Usama, who said: I entered the Kaaba with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and I saw an image in the House. He commanded me, so I brought him a bucket of water, and he began to strike that image and say: "May Allah fight a people who depict what they do not create."
