كتاب العقيقة في العقيقة من رآها

Hadith 16:989

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Kathir ibn Hisham narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn Burqan narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade two types of wearing [garments]: The *samma'*, which is for one to wrap himself in a single garment, raising its side over his shoulder, while he has no other garment on him. And for a man to sit in the *ihtiba'* position (holding his legs against his abdomen) in a single garment, with nothing between his private parts and the sky—meaning a covering.

حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا كثير بن هشام قال حدثنا جعفر بن برقان عن الزهري عن سالم عن أبيه قال نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن لبستين الصماء وهو أن يلتحف في الثوب الواحد يرفع جانبه عن منكبه ليس عليه ثوب غيره ويحتبي الرجل بالثوب الواحد ليس بين فرجه وبين السماء شيء يعني سترا
