Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, who said: Mu'awiyah came to Medina and delivered a sermon to us. He brought out a bundle of hair and said: "I did not think that anyone would do this except the Jews. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was informed of it, and he named it 'az-zur' (the falsehood/forgery)."
