Qabisa narrated to us, he said: Sufyan narrated to us, from the company of al-Rabi’, he said: Al-Rabi’ ibn Khuthaym used to love sweets, so he would say to us: "Make food for me." So we would make a lot of food for him, and he would invite young boys and so-and-so. Al-Rabi’ would feed them with his own hand and give them to drink, and he would drink the remainder of their drink. It would be said to him: "These two do not know what you are feeding them." He would say: "But Allah knows."
