Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1044

Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, he said: Ya'qub narrated to us, from Abu Hazim, that he said: You find a man committing acts of disobedience, and when it is said to him, "Do you love death?" he says, "No, and how could I, while I possess what I possess?" It is then said to him, "Will you not abandon what you are doing of these acts of disobedience?" He says, "I do not want to abandon them, and I do not love to die until I abandon them."
