Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, who said: I heard Abu Razin say: 'Abdullah said: "Whoever lets [people] hear [his deeds for fame], Allah will let [people] hear [his disgrace]. And whoever shows off, Allah will show off [his hypocrisy]. And whoever humbles himself out of submissiveness, Allah will raise him. And whoever acts arrogantly out of haughtiness, Allah will lower him."
