Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1141

Ishaq ibn Sulayman al-Razi narrated to us, he said: Abu Sinan narrated to us, from Amr ibn Maymun, from Abu Salih, who said: Those to whom the messengers were sent will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever obeyed Him will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeyed Him will enter the Fire. There will remain a group of children, those who perished during the interval (fatrah) between messengers, and those whose intellects were overcome. The Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He, will say to them: "You have seen; I have only admitted into Paradise those who obeyed Me, and I have admitted into the Fire those who disobeyed Me. I command you to enter this Fire." A neck (a flame or manifestation) will emerge for them from it. Whoever enters it, it will be his salvation, and whoever recoils and does not enter it, it will be his destruction.
