Ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Thawr, from Khalid ibn Ma‘dan, who said: They will pass by the Fire while it is extinguished, and they will say, "Where is the Fire that You promised us?" He said: "You passed over it while it was extinguished."
