Affan narrated to us, he said: Ja'far ibn Sulayman narrated to us, he said: Sa'id al-Jurayri narrated to us, he said: Muwarrig al-Ijli passed by a gathering of the tribe and greeted them with peace, and they returned the greeting to him and asked him [about his condition]. A man from the tribe said: "Are you in a righteous state?" He said: "We wish that a tenth of it were righteous."
