Sa'id ibn Sharhabil narrated to us, from Khallad ibn Sulayman al-Hadrami, who said: I heard Khalid ibn Abi 'Imran saying: 'Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr would not break his fast during the month except for three days. Khalid said: He remained for forty years without taking his garment off his back.
