Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1257

'Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from 'Abd Rabbih ibn Zaytun, from Ibn Muhayriz: That he said: "Speech in the mosque is vain, except for one who is praying, or one remembering his Lord, or one asking for good, or one giving it."
