Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1258

Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Raja’ ibn Abi Salamah, who said: It reached me that Ibn Muhayriz entered upon a man from the cloth merchants and bought something from him. A man said to the cloth merchant, "Do you know who this is? This is Ibn Muhayriz." So he (Ibn Muhayriz) stood up and said, "We only came to buy with our dirhams, not with our religion."
