Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1265

Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Abu Hilal Muhammad ibn Sulaym al-Rasibi informed us, from al-Hasan, regarding his saying: Abu al-Sahba’ said: I sought wealth from a lawful source, but it exhausted me, except for the provision of day by day. So I knew that it had been chosen for me. And by Allah, there is no servant who is given the provision of day by day and does not think that it is better for him, except that he is incapable or deficient in judgment.
