'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, that Abu Thamir was a devout man. He slept one night before he prayed the Isha prayer. Two angels, or two men, came to him in his sleep. One of them sat at his head and the other at his feet. The one at his head said to the one at his feet: "Prayer before sleep pleases the Most Merciful and angers Satan." And the one at his feet said to the one at his head: "Indeed, sleep before prayer pleases Satan and angers the Most Merciful."
