Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1293

Affan narrated to us, he said: Humayd ibn Hilal narrated to us, he said: Silah said: I saw Abu Rifa’ah after he had passed away in a dream, upon a swift she-camel, while I was upon a heavy, slow-moving camel. I was following his tracks. He said: So he would slow it down for me, and I would say—he heard the sound—so he would speed it up, and I would follow its tracks. I interpreted my dream as meaning that I would take the path of Abu Rifa’ah, and that I would strive in deeds after him, a great striving.
