Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1310

Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, he said: Mis'ar said: Alqamah ibn Marthad narrated to me, from Ibn Buraydah, who said: If the weeping of the people of the earth were weighed against the weeping of Dawud, it would not equal it. And if the weeping of Dawud and the weeping of the people of the earth were weighed against the weeping of Adam when he was sent down to the earth, it would not equal it.
