Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1335

Abu Usama narrated to us, from Ibn 'Awn, from Umayr ibn Ishaq, who said: I reached more of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, than those who preceded me among them. I have not seen a people easier in conduct, nor less severe, than them.
