Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1356

Hussain bin Ali narrated to us, from Abu Musa, from al-Hasan, who said: It was said, "What is Islam?" He said: "Islam is that the secret and the public are the same in it; that your heart submits to Allah, and that every Muslim and every person under a covenant is safe from you."
