Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:1362

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Ja’far al-Khatmi, that ‘Umayr ibn Habib had a freed slave who used to teach his sons the Qur’an and writing. He began to talk to them about women and worldly matters. He said: So he said to him, “O Ziyad, you have indeed cast a shadow over my sons with the dome of Satan; scrape it away.”
