Al-Hasan narrated to us, he said: I heard Zuhayr Abu Khaythama say: Abu Ishaq al-Hamdani narrated to us, he said: Al-Hasan—meaning al-Basri—used to resemble the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
