Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 33:137

Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Musa ibn Muslim al-Tahan, from Amr ibn Murrah, from Abu Ja’far al-Mada’ini, who attributed it (to the Prophet), he said: "How strange, all of the strangeness, is the one who believes in the Abode of Eternity while he strives for the Abode of Deception. How strange, all of the strangeness, is the arrogant, the boastful, while he was only created from a drop of fluid, then he will return as a corpse, and between that, he does not know what will be done with him."
